- Skanery działają tylko w niskich prędkościach Super Cruise!
- W celu aktywacji Full Spectrum System Scanner, musimy zamontować Discovery Scanner i ustawić następujące klawisze:
- Options > Controls > Mode Switches > Switch HUD Mode - to pozwoli przełączać się między trybami HUD - Combat (walk) i Analysis. W trybie Combat nie działają skanery, a w trybie Analysis nie działają bronie.
- Options > Controls > Full Spectrum System Scanner > Enter FSS Mode i Leave FSS Mode -Włącza i wyłącza tryb FSS dla Discovery Scannera
- Options > Controls > Mode Switches > Switch HUD Mode - to pozwoli przełączać się między trybami HUD - Combat (walk) i Analysis. W trybie Combat nie działają skanery, a w trybie Analysis nie działają bronie.
- W celu użycia sond planetarnych, musimy zamontować na statku Detailed Surface Scanner. Następnie musimy przypisać go do jednej z Fire Group w prawym panelu (tak jak broń). Po podleceniu do danego ciała niebieskiego i przełączeniu się w tryb Analysis możemy odpalić skaner (spustem). Sondy również odpalamy spustem.
- Sekcja Discoveries zawiera wpisy dostępne w Becie (w pełnej wersji będzie tego o wiele więcej). Mogą one być plotką (Rumour), zgłoszone (Reported) lub potwierdzone (Confirmed). Aby zaktualizować nasz wpis do status Confirmed, musimy znaleźć dany obiekt i w trybie Analysis użyć Short Range Composition Scanner (nowy, wbudowany w każdy statek oraz w SRV skaner, który musimy przypisać do Fire Group). Po znalezieniu obiektu do odkrycia, skaner będzie miał status 'Ready To Scan' - po zakończeniu skanu, do Codexu zostanie dodany wpis.
- Jedynie wpisy z kategorii Geological, Biological oraz Civilisation wymagają takiego skanowania. Ciała niebieskie uznawane są za Potwierdzone już przy odkryciu ich przy użyciu FSS lub przez zbliżenie się do nich w SC.
- Nowe scenariusze dostępne są w następujących lokacjach: nieuszkodzone Megashipy, Conflict Zony, Distress Call, Combat Aftermath Detected oraz Convoy Dispersal Pattern Detected
- Wyboru naszego działania w danym scenariuszu dokonujemy w Comms Panel
- Wszystkie nowe klawisze dla customowych presetów klawiszy oznaczone są symbolem (!) w opcjach
- Został usprawniony mechanizm logowania się do Companion API przy użyciu Frontier OAuth2 authentication service. Można testować to tuaj: https://pts-companion.orerve.net/.

- Moduł Discovery Scanner daje teraz dostęp do nowego trybu skanowania Full Spectral System (FSS)
- FSS używany jest do odkrywania obiektów, zjawisk, USS-ów, scenariuszy, sygnałów SOS, celów misji etc.
