The Tournament
--- Run Charlie, Run! ---
The first competition of the Nano Olympics 3309 is behind us, and I hope everyone had a great time. We encountered some obstacles, there were a few shootouts (but they were only shooting at us, everyone else was super polite), but in the end, everything turned out very well. Unfortunately, two participants did not finish their race, and several fell under the guards' fire after the race ended. Fortunately, everyone returned, and one of them returned to win this competition. Luckily, everyone returned, and one of them even returned to win this competition.
Below, you will find the final starting list. CMDR Mr.Cichy did not show up for the competition; instead, CMDR Lord Wolkow participated, who, by a fortunate turn of events, did appear at the competition.
The first competition is ahead of us! Due to the smaller number of applications, we decided to shorten the duration to one day. The competition will take place on:
30.09 at 18:00 (GMT)
The competition will take place in the Savi system, on planet A6, in the settlement of Casari Falls. The Olympic fleet carrier [TWH-DN] Olimp (JNQ-GVV) will be available there, taking off from the HR 8444 system. The planned launch is scheduled no earlier than 16:00 (GMT), but everything will depend on the current duration of the aircraft carrier's jump.
From the available applications from the Squadrons, we drew starting lists for the qualifying races. There will be three heats during the qualifying round: two for four people and one for three people. Details of the elimination process can be found below:
Eliminations:
First run: CMDR .bgwd.(UAPF) CMDR NietoKT(TWH) CMDR kamilsap(AV)
Second run: CMDR dipper space(UAPF) CMDR Mike Kastillione(TWH) CMDR Dobrowit(AV)
Third run: CMDR Dzarafata(AV) CMDR Totempaalt(UAPF) CMDR Mr.Cichy(TWH)
AI technology (Chat GPT) was used to select the players.
The first two competitors from each heat advance to the semi-finals. Two groups of three people will be drawn from among the competitors who advanced to the semi-finals. In the semi-final race, the two best competitors from each of these groups will qualify for the final race.
Tournament brackets:
Remember the Olympic rules and competition.
we share our stream on the discord channel if necessary (referee's request)
during the run:
don't jump

The main referee will supervise the proper course of the competition CMDR -PAQ-, the judging process will be available on his stream, link below: -PAQ- stream
Additionally, CMDR Mathias Shallowgrave will also cover the competition, link below: Rootsrat stream
Thank you very much to everyone who participated in the competition. We invite you to the next one!
--- Shield Boxing ---
The competition in this discipline was much shorter than originally anticipated. Unfortunately, several players could not attend the event. Due to the number of three players who reached the final, we had to adjust the way it was conducted. The final was played in a round-robin format. In the first instance, the number of victories was taken into account, and in the event of a tie, the number of rounds won during the finals decided.
Below is the actual tournament bracket from this competition, with all the results.:
CMDR Lord Torres
from squadron Ukrainian Pilots Federation
Third place:
CMDR Gekktor
from squadron Ukrainian Pilots Federation

We are starting preparations for the next competition. Feel free to familiarize yourself with the guidelines below.
Competition date:
Eliminations
06.10 at 18:00 (GMT)
Semi-finals and Finals
07.10 at 18:00 (GMT)
This time, the competition will be a bit longer than before. Due to the number of participants, we plan to conduct 8 boxing matches, allocating 20 minutes for each. Taking into account preparations and potential delays, we expect the entire event to last at least 3, and perhaps even 4 hours. Therefore, the competition has been spread over two days.
There is still some time before the competition. If participants are convinced that they can endure the entire event in one day, even if it takes 4 hours, the Olympic Committee will consider any suggestions. Please post any proposals in the Nano-Olympiad DISCUSSION thread or on Discord, in the #olympic-talks-pl-eng channel.
Location:
The competition will take place in one of two systems, depending on the current natural lighting. These are:
- System HIP 12099, planet 1 a, abandoned INRA base: Stack
or
- System Alnath, planet A 2 a a, abandoned INRA base: Klatt Enterprises
The transport for participants will be provided by the Carrier [TWH-DN] Olimp (JNQ-GVV), and the start time is set between 16:00 and 17:00 (GMT).
Starting list:
Head to the training sessions, and see you at the competition!
We recommend reviewing the competition rules once again, here is the link: Shield Boxing
We sincerely thank everyone who attended the competition and invite you to the next one!
--- PWR Raid ---
Due to low attendance, we have decided to limit the planned eliminations and the final in this competition to a single match. We started the competition with a coin toss, and Trident's team became the Defenders first. In the third round, Trident had the right to choose sides, and in the last round, they opted for the Attacking team role.
Here is the starting list for this competition.
This time, you can watch the coverage along with commentary on the course of the competition at this link: Rootsrat stream
From my point of view, from the judge's POV:
Ahead of us is the first team competition, this upcoming weekend players will face a real PVP fight. Here are the teams that have declared participation in this competition:
AV Team CMDR Dzarafata CMDR kamilsap
UAPF Team CMDR Lord Torres CMDR Totempaalt/CMDR dipper space
BLODIG DRAKKAR TEAM(TWH) CMDR Lord Wolkow CMDR Mike Kastillone
TWH Team 2 CMDR NietoKT CMDR titlee
We haven't decided on the competition format yet. Perhaps, similar to the Shield Boxing finals, teams will compete against each other
At the moment, only one team has provided its name. If the remaining teams also have their names, we encourage them to submit them.
Competition date:
Eliminations, part.1
13.10 at 18:00 (GMT)
Eliminations, part.2
14.10 at 18:00 (GMT)
Semi-finals and Finals
15.10 at 18:00 (GMT)
Of course, these are preliminary dates that may change. The actual number of teams participating in the competition will be decisive. Two new players recently joined the UAPF squadron, and we hope they'll stay with us until the end of the Nano Olympics.
Competition location:
The competition will take place in a settlement as shown in the image below, which is a military-type settlement marked with a "+". It has two landing zones: small (S) and medium (M).:
We have several locations at our disposal, and on the 13th of October, we will choose the most suitable one. The primary criterion for selection will be natural lighting. Below is a list of some locations:

Remember, the more respawns during training, the greater the chance of winning the competition!
Thank you very much to everyone who participated in the competition. We invite you to the next one!
--- Space Biathlon ---
This time the attendance surprised us significantly. Out of the 12 participants who expressed interest in the competition, only two showed up. Among the absentees, only CMDR Lord Torres had previously notified us of his absence. Nevertheless, the competition was, of course, conducted as announced.
Here is the starting list for this competition:
In a few days, the next competition is coming up. This time, participants will test their skills in fast running, short-distance jumping, and accuracy in the Shield Boxing competition. Here's the preliminary starting list:

CMDR Dzarafata
CMDR Dobrowit
CMDR NietoKT

The players have been divided into two groups through a random draw. The top three players from each group will have the chance to compete in the final run. The order of the players in the final race will be determined by their placement in their respective groups. Everything is shown in the tournament bracket below:
Competition date:
Eliminations and Finals: 21.10 at 18:00 (GMT)
Competition location:
The competition will take place in the same settlement as the PWR Raid competition, a military-type settlement marked with a '+'. It has two landing pads: small (S) and medium (M):
As before, we will choose one of the available locations, and the decisive factor will be the natural lighting on the planet.

In short, the most important competition rules:
- jumping only in designated places
- shooting only from designated positions
At the request of participants, we can organize an earlier meeting for a more detailed explanation of the rules and conduct a few trial races.
We also remind you of the rules of good behavior during the competitions::
- SRV and other vehicles are prohibited from entering the settlement (does not apply to vehicles of the Olympic Commission and cooperating individuals - streamers)
- prohibition of running and shooting in the settlement during the competitions. You can enter the Leisure building and observe the competitions from there on an external camera
- The Olympic Commission also prohibits fast (reckless) flights at low altitude over the settlement..
We apologize for any limitations, but we want nothing to disturb the performances of the participants
Train, run, shoot!!! And please read the competition rules several times
--- Beetle Ball ---
I would like to write something more about the struggles in the last competition, but there is nothing to write about. Attendance, as last time, was almost zero, only one team showed up for the competition. This way, selecting the winners was very easy.
The victory in the competition was won by team:
BLODIG DRAKKAR TEAM(TWH) CMDR bahasso CMDR Mike Kastillone
Second place: none
Third place: none
There will be no table with results due to the lack of competitions, and we cannot present you a report.
We would like to thank the only team that came to the competition: BLODIG DRAKKAR TEAM
For the curious ones, we've kept the original posts before the competition:
