W szybkim poszukiwaniu panaceum na nieciekawy (dla mnie) efekt polegajacy na tym ze kolor glownej gwiazdy w systemie powoduje zafarb całego skyboxa, poniżej szybki tweak dopisany w pliku 'C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Graphics\GraphicsConfigurationOverride.xml' (cała sekcja <Envmap>). Cały trik to zanegowanie wartości <LocalDustBrightness>:
